I have my surname/name in my passport as SHAIK/NOORJAHAN BEGUM which needed correction in surname as CHABUKSAVAR SHAIK/NOORJAHAN BEGUM.
I HAVE ALL MY PROOFS such as voter id, aadhar on MY NEW NAME.
So for this correction to be made in passport,
Concerned APO directed me to get GAZZETTE NOTIFICATION.

DeleteSir, My wife is a government school teacher and wants to change her surname after marriage. For govt employees, we were asked to submit an affidavit attested by the head of the department. But Mandal Education Officer is refusing to sign the affidavit as he is afraid to sign the legal bond paper. We tried to convince him that it is my wife's affidavit and he is only attesting it. Still he is not signing. Can you suggest what should we do now.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Sampath Annamaraju. My last name needs was written as 'Annamraju' in my SSC certificate and is continued to be same from them on. (I have completed my SSC in 2002). I haven't considered it seriously then, but now I fear it may cause problems.
Is it possible to change/correct name in all the document from SSC to now.

Deleteit is not possible to change or correction in already finished courses but you can get gazette and can enclose wherever its necessary for you is enough to your problem no tension
Hello Sir, have completed my SSC in 1999 and studied till B.Tech and now doing job in IT. Now I am in US and want to apply visitor visa for my parents. My concern is last name in my SSC certificate has one letter wrong XDZZZ instead of XNZZZ. Same mistake carry forwarded. would like to correct it or get gazette. Please advise. Thank you. -Sam
